Your privacy, in plain words
The short version
Your journey is yours. We store only what the app visibly needs, we encrypt it, we never sell it, and there are no advertisers or trackers here - not now, not ever. You can download everything or erase everything, any time, with one button each.
What we collect
Only what you can see yourself entering: your first name, and your age if you chose to share it. How you're building your family, and which path you're on. Where you are in your journey, and your cycle history if it applies. The appointments, medications, and documents you add. Who you've invited to your circle, and what you've allowed them to see. If you opt into updates or join our newsletter, we also keep your email address and when you consented - and both are removed the moment you unsubscribe or delete your account. That's the whole list. We don't ask for your address, your finances, your diagnosis, or your test numbers - because the app doesn't need them, and data we don't hold is data that can never be misused.
Where it lives
Your data is stored in Pearl Path's own private database, hosted on professionally managed, secure cloud infrastructure. It is encrypted in transit and encrypted at rest. Beyond encryption, every piece of your data is protected by access rules enforced at the database level: your rows are yours.
Who can see it
You. And, only if you invite them, the people in your circle - and even then, only what you've chosen to share. Documents stay private unless you explicitly switch them on for a specific person, and you can revoke anyone's access instantly. Nobody else. We don't sell your data, share it with advertisers, or hand it to data brokers. There are no ad trackers and no analytics scripts watching you use the app. We built it that way on purpose.
Your rights, as buttons
In Settings, under "Your data", you'll find Export my data (downloads everything we hold about you in one file) and Delete my account (permanently erases everything - your journey, appointments, medications, documents and files, and circle connections; this also removes your email from any update lists). You don't need to email anyone or justify anything. They're just buttons.
Things we'll always tell you
If anything about how we handle data ever changes, we'll tell you in plain words before it does. Any future features that involve sharing will always be opt-in.
